What is the Connect1 Physician Portal?

The Connect1 Physician Portal is a secure web-based application designed to connect independent community physicians and providers to information stored in SRHS’s EMR for their referred and admitted patients.

Who should use the Connect1 Physician Portal?

Community users, independent physicians and independent practices who are not employees of SRHS but utilize SRHS services should use the Connect1 Physician Portal. This includes:

Do I need to submit an access request for any providers or users who already have Epic access at SRHS?

No, please do not submit an access request for a provider/user that already has Epic access at SRHS. Submitting a request for a provider/user that already has Epic access at SRHS will result in loss of primary access to the system. If a user already has Epic access, they do not need access to Connect1 Physician Portal.

How do I sign up for the Connect1 Physician Portal?

Physicians and providers are required to review and sign the Connect1 Physician Portal Access Agreement above.

How long will it take before physicians and providers have access to the Connect1 Physician Portal?

Access will be granted to physicians and/or providers within 15 business days following receipt of the completed access agreements.

Is training available for the Connect1 Physician Portal?

Yes. Computer-based training is encouraged; however, it is not required for access. Information on education and training is available in the EpicCare Link Quick Start Guide.

Who do I call if I experience problems with the Connect1 Physician Portal?

Technical issues (such as password resets) should continue to be reported through the Help Desk as with other applications by calling 864-560-4357 (HELP).
