What do I need to become a Paladin?
A Security License, issued by the Province you intend to work in (not required for Newfoundland and Labrador) Paladin Officers enjoy company-paid training and licensing because we believe you shouldn’t have to pay to work.

Basic Security Officer Training Course (BSOT)
Prior to being welcomed as a member of our company, all prospective Security Officers must successfully complete our Basic Security Officer Training course (BSOT), which is modelled on the Canadian General Standards Board curriculum.
Pre-Assignment Security Officer Training
All Security Officers at Paladin receive advanced training that is based on their site assignment. As an example, Healthcare Security Officers receive an additional 40 – 120 hours of healthcare specific training, depending on the type of facility.
Security Officer Orientation & Site Training
While starting off with a more capable and qualified Security Officer is important, it does not help if they arrive at your facility with no understanding of what they are supposed to do. Paladin uses the most advanced and up to date methods of documenting and delivering specialized site orientation training at every site we protect.
