Great company
Overall great company. Flexibility, diverse. Quality driven, innovative in some areas. Advancement opportunities, no cost education for bachelor of science degrees
Monotonous and draining
This place is recommended for those who enjoy poor team work, dirty and dusty work stations, and being belittled or ignored by management.
Busy workday, limited room for advancement
Very busy day to day, makes time go by quickly. Lots to learn but limited growth overall. Good starting job for new graduates to gain experience. Wages are below industry average so many people leave for higher paying companies. Great coworkers, some upper level management are helpful and supportive as well.
Easy going, great place to work
Definitely a good work experience. Typical workday is to come in at your assigned start time, log into pertinent systems and begin your work. No personal phone calls allowed. Two 15 minute breaks and a 30 minute lunce.
This place can be toxic
I was at Lab Corp for nearly a year. The Call Center atmosphere was pretty tense. Of course talking was minimal since it was a call center. However, it often gave the department an icy feel. Very cold. Management was borderline unapproachable, even though they acted as if employees should always feel comfortable coming to them.
Not perfect but close
I love my job. It's been a while since I have actually gotten up ready to go to work. My job is a lot less stressful than previous positions that I've had. It took almost a year to become a permanent employee, but in the end, it was worth the wait.
Different
It was the totally different world because of the schedule and work. Nothing new to learn from work but it used to help me at the time with my family time balance.
