If multiple transactions are initiated for the same item, the most recent transaction will be used in processing for the current pay period. Example 6: An employee changes his/her tax record on April 11, and again on April 12, 16, and 18. The last change made on April 12 will be effective in pay period 20XX09.
When does EEX send transactions to IBC?
EEX sends accepted transactions to IBC daily (Monday through Friday) with a 3:00 am (Eastern Time) cut-off. IBC loads those files after 6:00 pm on the day of receipt. Therefore, a transaction submitted in EEX on one business day will be transmitted to IBC on the next business day, and will be loaded into FPPS that evening.
How long does it take to get a PIN number?
Your personal identification number (PIN) is necessary to log onto the system. If you are a new employee, you will receive your PIN within three weeks of the effective date of your personnel action. If you do not receive a PIN number or if you have lost your PIN number, submit a Help Request by clicking on the help icon located in the top right hand corner of any page on the Employee Express website.
How to check if your leave and earnings statement is effective?
Use the Help information on the system, or call the Help Desk. Watch for the "effective date" that appears near the end of your session. After that date, both Employee Express and your Leave and Earnings Statement should reflect the change.
