Please call Capital Region Medical Records Department at 573.632.5648 for the following: Medical Records staff are available Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. *Patients of MU Health Care and CRMC who are already enrolled in the MU Health Care portal can simply login to their MU Health Care account.

What to expect from EAP counseling

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a counseling and referral service designed to help with your personal, job or family problems. It is staffed by a team of qualified, licensed mental health professionals. It is free, voluntary and confidential.

Confidentiality

Your privacy is protected by strict confidentiality laws and regulations and by professional ethical standards for counselors. Your participation in the EAP and the details of your discussions with the counselor will not be released to anyone, including your employer, without your prior written consent.

Getting started

A telephone call is all it takes to request information or to make an appointment with an EAP counselor. As needed or appropriate, a counselor will meet with you in a confidential setting and:

Medical and dental plan

Health and dental insurance are available to the intern/resident and their family at the same cost as other CRMC employees.

Moonlighting opportunities

Moonlighting opportunities are available for second- and third-year residents.

Meals

Our hospital has a physicians-only lounge that provides meals for breakfast and lunch as well as while on call. House staff are not charged for meals while on duty at the hospital.

Certifications

Residents earn life support certification in specialized areas including BLS, ACLS and PALS.

Malpractice insurance

Malpractice insurance is provided at no cost to residents for activities associated with the residency program.

Resident wellness

Enrollment into Employee Wellness Incentive Plan. Full free membership to Sam B. Cook Healthplex.

Am I eligible for benefits?

You are eligible to participate in our benefits program, if you are an active full-time employee (budgeted to work 36 or more hours a week or in the Weekend Alternative (WEA) Program) or part-time regular employee (budgeted to work between 20 to 35 hours per week or in an Every Other Weekend Alternative (EWEA) Program.

How do I enroll into the benefits program?

You will receive an orientation to our comprehensive benefit program during your Entry Orientation, usually the first day of your employment.

When will I become covered by benefits?

You will become covered on the first day of the month following your initial 30 days of employment. Current employees who change into a benefits eligible status will become eligible as of the first day of the month following the change.

Will Dimensions cover my dependents?

Your dependents may be covered as long as they meet our reasonable eligibility requirements outlined in our annual Benefits Guide. Please remember that you must provide proof of your dependents’ eligibility and provide us with their Social Security Numbers.

What is our Plan Year?

The employee benefits calendar coincides with the calendar year. Our annual Open Enrollment season takes place during the last two weeks of October and benefit changes take effect on the following January 1.

How do I make changes in my coverage?

Outside of your initial enrollment period and the annual Open Enrollment, you may only change your benefits during the plan year if you experience a qualifying life event, such as loss of a spouse’s coverage or birth of a child.
