Where is Heatherbed in Aspen?
The Heatherbed is a former ski lodge across the street from Aspen Highlands Ski Area. It's a rustic building in a very quiet location 3 miles out of the town of Aspen. Most rooms are basic, motel style, furnished with one or two beds, dressers, lamps, microwave and a small refrigerator.
What is the Snow Eagle?
The Snow Eagle was built as a motel and later converted to employee housing. The Snow Eagle is an older building, and is very basic. The units are apartment style with small kitchens including a full size refrigerator and stove, living area, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms.
Is there street parking in Aspen, Colorado?
There is no street parking in the area. The free Castle/Maroon bus runs between Aspen and Highlands every 20 minutes. Large shared studio (360 sq ft) with small fridge and microwave is suitable for 2 people. Motel-style rooms (160 sq ft) with small fridge and microwave for 1 person.
