positive work environment

American Senior Communities embrace all cultures and creates a family and work life balance. Has a positive atmosphere and everybody work as a team to reach the goal.

Don't love it, don't hate it

I didn't always enjoy working here when I was here 40 hrs a week, but once I went to 30 hours it has been much better. The position in I am in has a lot of flexibility. Working with the management team has been a good experience, however turnover can be very high in management making it more difficult to do your job.

Ok place to work

Worked on memory care unit. Poor staffing, difficult to manage patient care with inadequate help. Residents were friendly and enjoyed talking with them and caring for them day to day.

Residents are wonderful to care for. Flexibility a must

Flexibility a requirement because high turnover rate and call ins. Shorthanded and pull from different areas to cover another. Sometimes mid shift they will send you to another hall then back again. Alot of hours and overtime offered. Mask and Face Shields required.

Great environment

Great place to work. Makes you feel like you have a sense of purpose. Can be very tedious at times. Constantly on your feet for hours on end, but it’s worth it

Never fully staffed, Always Underpaid

My experience just about the kitchen: Management and employees are always coming and going because of a toxic culture and a lack of fair compensation. There will never be enough people for what the building needs because no one will want to stick around in that disgusting and grueling environment.

Recruitment

I would not recommend this company to any professional job seeker. You are asked to jump through several hoops in the interview stage that are quite counterproductive. High turnover rates and a disconnected management team was a complete turn off. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
